I became a psychotherapist because I became convinced that people change one another.
Some relationships injure us.
Others restore us.
I have devoted my career to understanding those moments well enough to participate in them responsibly.
I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker with specialist training in Systemic Family Therapy.
Over the past decade I have worked across specialist public mental health services, child and youth mental health, private practice, child protection and forensic services.
Much of my clinical work has been alongside people experiencing complex and enduring mental health difficulties, often where previous attempts to make sense of a problem have reached their limits.
Alongside clinical practice, I write about psychotherapy, philosophy and the questions that continue to shape my practice.
